Once again… Mt. St. Helen’s ash glass. Shiny. And that is all I have to say about it.

Day 30 – Something From the Medicine Cabinet
Well, since I don’t actually have a medicine cabinet, you get some medicine I keep in the kitchen cabinet! I shot this one while cooking dinner, practically stirring a pot on the stove while hovering over this bottle of Nyquil, manually focusing, stirring, shooting and repeating until I got the shot I wanted. I am kind of looking forward to tomorrow’s assignment, collectibles! Ta ta for tonight, peeps!
Day 29 – What’s Cooking?
Ah…. Java, sweet java, how you start my day so pleasantly. Your heavenly scent wafting through the air as you brew, your bitter nutty flavor as I sip you. Oh, coffee, you are my best morning friend; how I love to break my fast with you! I like you hot, I like you cold, I just don’t like you black. Come to me latte, mocha, breve, iced; two shots of espresso, some cream, some sweet or chocolate or raspberry or vanilla or orange or hazelnut or pumpkin spice. But please, please, please! Don’t skimp on the coffee!
Day 28 – What is ON Your Refrigerator?
Oh my goodness! I am having so much fun with these daily themes I have dreamed up! Each day, I get the pleasure of looking at dozens of fabulous and fun photos posted by everyone else doing the assignment with me, and they are sometimes poignant, sometimes far out of the box, sometimes achingly beautiful and sometimes just plain fun – I am amazed at how so many people can see and think of the same thing in so many different ways. And it is so exciting to watch some of them as their eyes open to the world around them, as they realize that there are so many ways to SEE, as they strive to push their own creativity buttons.
And now, I get to look at how everyone sees his or her respective fridge! Ta ta for now!
Day 27 – Things in Drawers
My Sweet.
My Love.
My Little One.
My Joy.
My Heart.
My Youngest One.
My Smile.
My Tears.
My Heartache.
My Worry.
My Growing One.
•••
This is my youngest one. The one who is making my gray hair grayer. The one with the boundless energy and the one whom trouble manages to find. She is my little buddy, my little lookalike and my husband’s little princess. She is my artist, my drawer and these are the eyes within.
Day 26 – Things in a Row
Day 25 – Lines
Day 24 – Triangles
Today, I looked at pine trees, irrigation sprinklers, roof lines, handrails, traffic signs, things in the library and outside of the library, Amish buggies and a crocheted snowflake. And settled on the triangles in my car’s Buick emblem. No problem!
As a side note, my son’s JV bowling team won again today at their meet and are now 6 – 0! They are amazing Bowling Freaks, that’s what they are!
And looking at the temperature right now, we are having a heat wave and it is a balmy 2 degrees f. I am burning up from this blast of furnace like heat!
Day 23 – Squares
I did not want to cooperate with this project today. My camera sat on the counter, lonely, neglected. My Kindle had the place of honor today; I started The Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet last night and once I start a book, I really have a hard time stopping until I am at the last page. It is really torturing me to know that my book is languishing, waiting to be finished. And I just know that if I don’t pick it up soon, something is going to happen in the storyline and I am going to miss it!!!
Day 22 – Circles
Today is a milestone in my beautiful daughter’s life. She has officially stepped onto the first rung of the teenage ladder. It is bittersweet for me, as it is just one more step closer to her adulthood. But for now, while I have her close, I will continue to guide her, to love her and to appreciate every moment, good or bad.
Happy birthday, to my sweet girl.
